1. Tall Fescue with Kentucky Bluegrass 90/10 Sod

Our Delta Tall 9010 is a mix of Tall Fescue and Kentucky Bluegrass. It will be delivered on a highly organic peat soil base, making it a safer option for your family - kids and pets! The Delta Tall 9010 has many key features that make it ideal for Stockton. First, the Delta Tall 9010 is our most drought tolerant grass and also offers excellent heat tolerance. Secondly, our Tall Fescue Mix has above average wear and tear recovery, making it a perfect sod lawn option for recreational use, including dogs and children. Because our Fescue Bluegrass Mix tolerates and recovers best from heavier foot traffic, it makes the perfect lawn for the next annual 4th of July barbecue or birthday party. 3. Kurapia Ground Cover

Kurapia ground cover has become an increasingly popular lawn choice in California, especially in Stockton. Kurapia ground cover loves the higher temperatures in Stockton and can also survive its lower end temperatures. Most markedly, Kurapia ground cover has become popular for its low maintenance features. Kurapia ground cover is highly water-conserving, saving both time and money spent on irrigation. Similarly, Kurapia ground cover does not require mowing. Yes, that means you technically never have to mow your Kurapia ground cover. Kurapia ground cover can be mowed or trimmed based on personal preferences, but it is not necessary. Kurapia blooms miniature white flowers twice annually which support both pollination and its curb appeal. Now you know why Kurapia ground cover is so popular in Stockton and all of California!

4. Special Shade Blend Mix Sod

Our Shade Blend Mix has become popular in Stockton for its dual ability to thrive both in full sun and partially shaded areas. Because of its warmer weather, many residential and commercial property owners in Stockton invest in trees for their landscape to provide shaded areas for warmer days. This is where the Shade Blend comes in - it can tolerate both full sun as well as partially shaded areas. We get lots of calls from lawn owners explaining that half their lawn is in shade and half in full sun, which is another instance in which the Shade Blend makes an ideal grass! Note, we recommend any lawn receive at least 6 hours daily of direct or filtered sun. It will also provide many of the same benefits as the other fescue hybrids such as heat tolerance, drought tolerance and wear and tear recovery.

Bermuda grass is another great and popular option for Stockton, California! One of the biggest differences between our Bermudagrass selections and fescue options is that our bermudagrasses will go dormant in the winter. Our top Bermuda grass option is our Celebration Bermuda, boasting the highest ratings possible for drought tolerance, disease tolerance and heat tolerance.

  • I have had this Delta Blue Ryegrass for over two years now, and it is still doing great. It grows slowly, but it has been a lovely grass in my garden here in Stockton.

  • I was surprised by how good this Kurapia product is. It does everything it promises and more, which is why it’s the best in Sod and Seed. I’d recommend using this Kurapia for your back garden lawn because it is very durable, attractive, and an excellent grass to have.

  • I’m a very picky person when it comes to my yard and lawn because I want it to look nice. Kurapia is what I was looking for in my property in San Benito.
