Sod Lawn Installation

Our Sod Installation includes applying Starter Fertilizer to the prepped area prior to installing the sod, laying out the sod on your prepped area, cutting to fit the perimeter, rolling the area after installation, and disposing of the excess material and pallet(s). Our Sod Installation is a flat rate of $950.00 for areas up to 2,000 square feet. Additional factors, discussed below, may impact pricing.  

Sod Lawn Installation Larger than 2,000 Sq Ft

For areas larger than 2,000 square feet, prices increase by the square foot and are based on other factors that may impact the labor of our installation crew, such as accessibility, slopes, areas hard to access, pavers, etc.

Sod Lawn Installation Larger than 9,000 Sq Ft

Sod and Seed, Inc. offers installation services for areas larger than 9,000 sq ft. Please call us at (925) 435 - 7874 for installation jobs on areas larger than 9,000 sq ft. 

Accessibility and Additional Costs

Our sod installation services include the above-stated services only. Additional services that require additional labor costs and time may increase the overall installation price. Examples include but are not limited to:

Accessibility 

Factors such as sloped areas, stairs or steps, areas requiring smaller trucks for sod delivery, back yard installations requiring access through the home (i.e. SF homes without side gates for backyard installs), generally hard-to-access areas, etc.

Additonal Labor

Factors such as pavers, stepping stones, special cuts, unusually shaped areas, etc. 

Special Notes

Please let our installation crew know if you would like to keep the excess material and/or pallet(s).

All installations are based on availability, staffing, routing, and accessibility. Limitations may apply.
